About me

Freelance Artist & Illustrator

I graduated from university in 2018 with a BA Hons degree in Visual Communication (Illustration) and I also have a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Art & Design (Photography). I am now excited about starting my professional career as an Artist and Illustrator.

During my university degree I soon discovered that I had a passion for ink as my preferred medium. My style is primarily monochromatic and can best be described as whimsical and quirky.

My images are initially illustrated by hand and I use water to make ink bleed to arrive at the required detail and pattern. I produce a range of printmaking and paintings often with a dark theme, perhaps best illustrated by my Frankenstein series which was used to promote the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s novel. This was publicised by the BBC and displayed at the Birmingham Library, UK. For examples of my work, see my Portfolio page.

I look forward to hearing from Commissioners with a view to developing bespoke illustrations.
